2019 Artillery OCS Alumni Reunion is May 8-11

Click here to view the Artillery OCS Reunion Invitation.

Registration and the evening Ice-breaker and buffet will be at the Lawton Hilton Garden Inn on Wednesday May 8th. Organized activities will be available on Fort Sill each day. Lunch will be served on Thursday and Friday at locations to be determined. There will be evening social events on Thursday and Friday with buffett meals, with at least one at the Fort Sill Patriot Club.

No organized activities are planned for May 11th, but there is still plenty to do around the area, after the reunion.

Planning is under way and we’ll do our best to create a memorable event. Registration fees for the event are $225 for the graduate and $200 for guests. Spouses, guests and family members are encouraged to attend. A block of rooms has been set aside at the Hilton for those who would like to stay there. Many of the major hotel chains are located near the interstate and close to the Hilton. Reunion attendees are reminded they will need to provide their own transportation to all activities on Fort Sill.

Visit the Reunion page for all reunion information including registration form, lodging info, yearly newsletter, and more.

Finding Classmates

We often receive requests from graduates who are trying to track down classmates. We have compiled a list of tips from fellow graduates who have been successfully locating their classmates. Click here for search tips.

The photo album continues to grow. We have 5,636 photos contained in 137 albums! Included in these are 12 albums containing 230 class pictures from 1951 thru 1973. Check out the Photo Gallery for album links which include photos of training, past reunions and more. We encourage everyone to share photos with us.

Durham Hall is closed to the general public.

The Fort Sill Artillery OCS Hall of Fame in Durham Hall (Building 3025) will no longer be open to the general public. The Hall of Fame has been in this location since 1984. It has been operated and maintained by volunteers since 1999.

The transition to create a virtual on-line OCS Cultural Experience is under way. We are building an extensive base of historic digital photos and documents for a set of interactive kiosks for the general public. The kiosks will supplement OCS history story boards, display cases and memorabilia in our future home to be built adjacent to the Field Artillery Museum at Fort Sill.

Additions to website

We have been busy scanning class pictures for the Class Pictures Gallery. If you don't see your class picture, contact us to see if we have it. We are missing most of the 1940s classes and a few in each of the other decades. A number of the pictures on display are not in good condition. If you have a picture that we are missing or a better copy of an existing one you could share with us it would be greatly appreciated. Please contact us to determine the best way to get a copy to us.

Get the memories stirring:

Check out "The OCS Experience (Memories of Robinson Barracks and Artillery Officer Candidate School Fort Sill, Oklahoma 1941-1973)" available in PDF format on the
History Page.

We are compiling additional information for a future edition of "The OCS Experience" and encourage everyone to share stories and photos of their artillery OCS experiences. We are pleased to have received so many stories from graduates and will soon begin the editing process. If we have enough interest in the new product, we will offer a professionally printed 8.5 x 11 laminated soft cover book for sale. It will also be available on line in PDF format.
